Wilderness Trail has hit the sweet spot of having an eight-year Bourbon to release. We call it the sweet spot because this is where the fruit, candy and nut flavors peak.
Sales of our eight-year high-rye Bourbon begin at 9 am July 8 at the distillery.
The cost is $86 (plus tax) and the limit is four bottles per person.
Sales will take place in two locations: our gift shop and our tasting pavilion, which is immediately behind the historic home. This is an exclusive distillery offering a small batch of 18 barrels.
If you can’t make the distillery release, you can still find the eight-year but only in Kentucky this year. Heidelberg, our Kentucky distributor, will receive bottles from the other small batch of 18 barrels.
