Louisville-based nonprofit Opal’s Dream Foundation has announced it will again partner with the Elizabethtown-based Give 270 to host an online charity raffle featuring 50 bourbon prizes, including three grand prize sets.
The Bourbon Strong 50-4-50 raffle will be live on Give 270’s Facebook page and YouTube channel on Wednesday, March 29 at 8 p.m. All proceeds will benefit Opal’s Dream Foundation and the organization’s mission to restore dignity, respect and joy to Kentucky and Indiana seniors in long-term care.
Each ticket purchaser will have two chances to win from a lineup of 50 bourbon prizes. The raffle will feature three grand prizes, including:
- A five-bottle set of Van Winkle Bourbon, including an Old Rip Van Winkle, 10-year, Van Winkle Special Reserve, 12-year Lot “B,” Pappy Van Winkle Family Reserve, 15-year, 20-year and 23-year.
- A five-bottle set featuring Buffalo Trace’s Antique Collection selections, including a William LaRue Weller, George T. Stagg, Thomas H. Handy, Sazerac 18-year and an Eagle Rare 17-year.
- A six-bottle Weller vertical, including a Weller Special Reserve, an Antique 107, a 12-year, a Full Proof, a C.Y.P.B. and a Single Barrel.
During the raffle, prizes four through 50 will be drawn before returning each winning ticket to the tumbler for the drawing of grand prizes.
Tickets are $50 and will be available until 7 p.m. on the drawing day. A total of 3,000 tickets are available for the raffle. There is no limit to the number of tickets purchased per person, subject to availability. Tickets can be purchased by visiting give270.org.
Launched in 2016, Give 270 supports community, economic and workforce development by raising funds for other area non-profit organizations and local initiatives. Give 270 has previously supported Opal’s Dream Foundation through a bourbon raffle last year and through the sale of an exclusive bourbon bottle celebrating the military veteran community in partnership with North Hardin Wine & Spirits in Radcliff in 2021.
