The new Whiskey Row social hall, Number 15, is nearing the completion of renovations of the historic 121 West Main Street building and will open to the public this spring.
“Whiskey Row was the perfect spot for us to honor Kentucky as the 15th state to join the Union,” said Spencer Fronk, CEO of Numbers Holding Company, the parent organization of Number 15. “The history of the building plays an important role in our offerings, which continues to push both the vibrancy of Louisville and our guests’ expectations. Number 15 brings together the best parts of Kentucky in one seamless experience.”
The new five-story social hall will include a lower-level sports bar called Last Place, a main floor stage, a balcony bar, an event rental space, and a penthouse suite. The entrance to Number 15 will be on Main Street along Whiskey Row. The main bar opens to an expansive two-story entertainment space beside a monolithic arched window. The third floor will feature the balcony bar, which will overlook the main stage below and provide a rare second-story outdoor patio along Main Street. The fourth floor of the complex will serve as an event space, available for rentals, including wedding receptions, holiday parties, business gatherings and more. The fifth floor will include a furnished penthouse suite, with details to be announced later. The floor-by-floor concept rendering is available at nmbr15.com.
Number 15 brings multiple breweries and distilleries under the same roof, emphasizing free live music. Encompassing its features is a seamless consumer experience, where a wristband payment system allows customers to depart without the hassle of waiting to close receipts. Number 15 is the only place where you can eat, drink and dance to the heart of Kentucky–on all five floors, all under one roof. The Number 15 experience is a step into the unexpected and a willingness to go on an adventure.
The Numbers Holding Company, which owns and operates Number 15, opened Number 38 in Denver, Colorado, in 2020. That proven concept remains as one of Denver’s most popular entertainment spots, offering authenticity and live music.
Bosse Construction is the general contractor for the project, with DKGR out of Indianapolis as the architectural and interior design firm of record. Financing for the project was made available via River City Bank.
