acob Call the Master Distiller at Green River Spirits and is the eighth generation of his family to make bourbon is leaving Green River Spirits at the end of July.
He is the descendant of Samuel Call who made bourbon in what is now Bourbon County.
Recently, Green River was acquired by Bardstown Bourbon Company, a division of Pritzker Private Capital.
Call revitalized Green River Distilling Co. in Owensboro, and started distilling bourbon in 2014.
He did not elaborate on his next adventure.
