ELIZABETHTOWN, Ky. (March 21, 2025) – Elizabethtown-based nonprofit Give 270 recently received a $10,000 Karis Kares grant from Karis Management Group, LLC.
Based in Charlotte, North Carolina, Karis Management Group provides appraisal services to clients throughout the United States. The company’s name, “Karis” (Latin for grace) reflects its commitment to giving back. Karis Management Group dedicates nearly 100% of profits to fostering opportunity and prosperity in local communities, providing grants to organizations such as the Colorado Fallen Hero Foundation, Meals on Wheels Texas, Make-A-Wish Central & Western North Carolina and many more.

Founded in 2016, Give 270 is dedicated to supporting the community, economic and workforce development of the Elizabethtown-Fort Knox MSA, which includes Hardin, LaRue and Meade counties. The organization raises funds for local nonprofits and initiatives through crowdfunding efforts such as an online giving mosaic, bourbon raffles and signature events. In just the past few months, Give 270 has provided funding for the Kentucky State Police Foundation; the Glendale Volunteer Fire Department; Feeding America, Kentucky’s Heartland; Hearts With Hands; United Way of Central Kentucky and many other organizations. To date, Give 270 has raised nearly $2 million, benefiting causes ranging from basic needs to mentoring and education initiatives.
