Four Roses 2023 135th Limited Edition Small Batch is an experience of subtle flavors and complex layers. Aromas of allspice, vanilla, and elegant oak mingle with a hint of cinnamon and clove on the nose. Rich layers of honey, vanilla, and rye spice are balanced with ripe berries and pear flavors that unfold and dissolve into a long mellow finish. The result is soft, smooth, and characteristically shareable.
“This is a good glimpse into what Four Roses can do with rare and special bourbons. We can create something really different and satisfy the demand for something rare, something unique that you can never create again,” said Master distiller Brent Elliott.
The blend contains 35% OESV 12-year-old bourbon, 40% OESK 14-year-old bourbon, 20% OESV 16-year-old bourbon and 5% OBSV 25-year-old bourbon. The letters reference Four Roses’ system of grain mashbills and yeast strains.
Only 15,060 bottles will be released at $199 MSRP and will be available September 15th. The distillery is holding a lottery for a chance to buy this limited edition bottle between August 22-28th.
