The “C” in the name stands for the third batch in an annual A, B, C line. The “9” denotes the release month, September, while the 22 represents the current year.
Elijah Craig Barrel Proof C922 is 124.8 proof. This is the highest proof in the series this year, following A122 and B522, both at 121 proof.
As with all ECBP releases, C922 is non-chill-filtered and uncut, bottled from the barrel to the bottle. This release is on the earthy and chocolatey side of the ECBP spectrum, following the sweeter, candy-like A122, and the B522, which was more down the middle of the traditional ECBP flavor profiles.
