Heaven Hill brand Elijah Craig has released its own Barrel Proof A123 for 2023.
Breaking down A123, the “A” is the first release in a three-part series, with the “1” designating the month and “23” standing for the year. It is common for Heaven Hill to use these numbers in its annual series.
This release is the 11th year for the brand’s popular cask-strength line. The cask-strength bourbon comes in at a whopping 125.6 proof.
The mashbill for this release is 78% corn, 12% malted barley and 10% rye.
