Buffalo Trace Distillery is getting into the holiday spirit! The Distillery is thrilled to invite the community to celebrate the season with Buffalo Trace’s annual holiday festivities; including light displays, holiday shopping in the gift shop, and a visit with Santa!
Now in its 25th year, the holiday lights at the Distillery are officially open to the public beginning November 30. Featuring an estimated 100,000 lights, the drive-through experience allows guests to experience the Distillery transformed into a festive winter wonderland. On average, the light display takes about 15 minutes to complete. The lights are free to the public and can be seen every evening from 5:30 p.m. to 30pm through Christmas Day.
Please observe signs and speed limits. Volunteers will be on-site to guide motorists along the route. The Distillery also invites guests to discover new offerings to complete their holiday shopping at the Buffalo Trace Gift Shop. Brand new for the holiday season, the gift shop will offer apparel for men and women from the recently unveiled Buffalo Trace Distillery x Wrangler collection.
Standouts from the collection include the Distiller’sJacket, an everyday layering piece with a rugged canvas exterior and interior flask pockets, and the Barrel House Jacket, a timeless denim jacket with a bourbon-inspired wash and corduroy detailing. Other styles in the collection include pullovers, woven work shirts, graphic tees, and aprons. Also new for 2023 are the leather stave coaster and cigar holder with leather coaster, which are handcrafted by the Distillery’s on-site woodworking team, Whiskey Woodcraft.
The Buffalo Trace Gift Shop also has a new inventory of fall/winter apparel, as well as a variety of barware, glassware, barrel heads, and more.
No holiday festivity is complete without a visit from the man himself. Straight from the North Pole, Santa Claus will be visiting the Distillery for one night only. On Wednesday, December 6, guests can meet Santa in the Elmer T. Lee Clubhouse from 5:30 pm-7:30 pm.
Photos are allowed, and guests are encouraged to bring wish lists. Buffalo Trace Distillery is located at 113 Great Buffalo Trace, in Frankfort, Ky. Visitors should enter at the main Distillery entrance, and everyone is asked to remain in their cars throughout the light route.
The Distillery’s Visitor Center and Gift Shop is open Monday-Saturday 9:00 am-5:00 pm and Sunday 11:00am5:00pm. The Gift Shop will not be open during the drive-through hours. Items can also be found online by shopping on the Distillery’s at www.buffalotracedistillery.com/shop.html.
