Laws Whiskey House is kicking off its new “Distiller for a Day” sweepstakes, offering whiskey enthusiasts a chance to win an exclusive, hands-on experience of the process of making award-winning whiskey. One lucky winner and a companion will receive an all-expenses-paid trip to Denver, Colorado, for an immersion in the Laws Whiskey House distilling process.
Laws Whiskey House is a terroir-driven distillery that combines the highest quality grains, a dedication to traditional processes, and a no-shortcuts approach to creating award-winning whiskey, including its flagship Four Grain Bourbon and San Luis Valley Rye. The whiskeys’ distinct flavor profiles come from American mother grains carefully sourced from local, family-owned Colorado farms.
The prize package provides the winner with a once-in-a-lifetime chance to make whiskey alongside the Laws Whiskey House team of distillers and blenders. It includes roundtrip economy class airfare, transportation, a two-night hotel stay, meals, spending money, and a gift bag full of exclusive Laws Whiskey House merchandise such as a hat, T-shirt, sweatshirt, flask, and tasting glasses.
This experience will include private tours of the Laws Whiskey House facilities with hands-on opportunities to mill, cook, ferment, distill, blend, and bottle whiskey. Living like a Laws Whiskey House distiller for a day also means enjoying life in the Mile-High City, and the winners will have a chance to dine out with the Laws team and experience the city of Denver like a local. This may include tickets to a concert, comedy show, or play (schedule permitting).
The contest opens in May 2023 and runs through August 31, 2023. A winner will be randomly selected on or about September 4, 2023. As scheduling permits, the trip can be redeemed from September 17 through November 17, 2023.
