Bardstown Bourbon Co., located at 1500 Parkway Drive in Bardstown, will kick off its summer patio concert series on Friday, May 12, from 5 – 9 p.m. to celebrate a collaboration with Bardstown Brewery and restaurant Scout & Scholar.
As part of the collaboration, Bardstown Bourbon Co. will release its latest collaborative series, which will be exclusively available at the distillery. The collaboration with Scout & Scholar is a 12-year Kentucky bourbon finished for eight months in barrels that previously held Scout & Scholar’s “Wheat King” and the Steve Nally 50th anniversary blend—in addition to the distillery exclusive collaboration, Master Distiller Steve Nally teamed up with head brewer Lee Northcutt to create a special beer that will be available as a limited release for the summer patio series.
In addition, guests can enjoy craft cocktails and bites from the new summer patio menu curated by Executive Chef Stu Plush and live music by Clint Campbell and DJ GMoney.
The series will run through August and feature live entertainment, cocktails and a limited dining menu by Executive Chef Stu Plush. Reservations for patio tables are available, though advanced reservations are not required. All events are weather permitting. The project began as Scout & Scholar’s Wheat King, a one-of-a-kind imperial wheat beer aged in Master Distiller Steve Nally’s 50th Anniversary bourbon barrels.
