The five-story, 89,000 sq. ft. rickhouse, shown in this video, can house more than 17,500 barrels and will provide Barrell Craft Spirits with much-needed storage space, given the increased demand for our award-winning products.
BCS purchased the rickhouse in Shively, KY, from Angel’s Envy in December 2022. Originally built in 1940 as part of a Yellowstone Distillery campus following the repeal of Prohibition, it’s been owned and operated by several companies, including Florida Distillers and Glenmore Distilling Company of Owensboro.
