A fireside favorite on snowy evenings, this cult-favorite whiskey makes its return with the reimagined Act 12 expression, arriving just in time to welcome the colder months. This limited-edition, highly coveted bottle delivers a rich, complex blend of flavors that embody the essence of winter. As of October 6th, A Midwinter Nights Dram Act 12 is available for purchase at the High West Saloon, with bottles becoming available online at www.highwest.com on October 8th.
A Midwinter Night’s Dram Act 12 is made from High West’s Rendezvous Rye expression, aged in new charred, white American oak and finished in Ruby and Tawny Port barrels. Some details about the liquid are below:
- Mash Bill: Straight Rye Whiskey: 95% rye, 5% barley malt from MGP; 80% rye, 20% malted rye from High West Distillery
- On the Nose: Brandied cherries, Calimyrna figs, pecan cinnamon rolls, allspice berries, grapefruit zest, French oak shavings, hayride in the fall
- Tasting Notes: Poached white peaches, stewed rhubarb, Italian tiramisu, candied ginger, clove, weathered cinnamon bark, fresh-pulled espresso, raspberry tarte on a cedar plank
