Versailles, KY – October 1, 2024 – Woodford Reserve’s Blended Malt Sherry Cask Finish is here. Part of the annual Distillery Series, the new expression is a blend of Woodford Reserve Malt Whiskey that was aged in used oak and finished in Oloroso and Amontillado sherry barrels.
This limited-edition release is now available at Woodford Reserve Distillery, online store for shipping (to KY, DC, NE, NH, ND), and at select Kentucky retailers for a suggested retail price of $64.99.
Master Distiller Elizabeth McCall describes the latest release as, “The dried fruit notes from the Sherry cask perfectly enhance the fruity flavors and sweet, dry nutty profile of our Malt Whiskey.”

TASTING NOTES
Color: Amber.
Aroma: Toasted hazelnut, dried dark fruit of prune and fig leading into bright allspice and anise.
Flavor: Rich roasted coffee, dusted with orange oils fading into raisin, dried fig, and hints of tobacco leaf.
Finish: A long lingering finish of sweet toasted malt, dried dark fruit and tobacco leaf.
