Meredith Moody, a veteran bourbon and hospitality industry leader known for building exceptional brand experiences, has been named chief experience officer at Dant Crossing and Log Still Distillery.
Moody brings more than 40 years of hospitality experience in destination marketing and bourbon tourism to her new role.
As chief experience officer, she will work with the Dant Crossing and Log Still Distillery teams to create memorable experiences for visitors, whether they are enjoying a tasting of Monk’s Road spirits at Log Still Distillery, seeing a show at The Amp at Dant Crossing, hosting an event at The Legacy or using one of the many lodging amenities as a home base for a visit to Kentucky’s bourbon country.
Moody will also oversee the launch of several upcoming campus amenities, including new lodging options, a private train depot and a farm-to-table restaurant.
Most recently, Moody served as Homeplace development director for Sazerac Company, where she was responsible for creating the tourism experience at Buffalo Trace Distillery, Barton 1792 Distillery, A. Smith Bowman Distillery, The Sazerac House, The Old Montreal Distillery in Quebec and Sazerac de Segonzac in France.

Moody’s hiring comes on the heels of the grand opening of Dant Crossing’s wedding and events venue, The Legacy, as well as the hiring of world-renowned Chef David Danielson to lead food and dining on campus. This summer will bring even more developments to Dant Crossing, including a new season of concerts at the 2,000-seat outdoor music venue The Amp, new lodging options and the opening of the distillery itself, which will start production as early as July.
