While I was making this drink, I was a little nervous. I am not a fan of cardamom. However, with the touches of vanilla and spice from the Redemption Bourbon, the sweetness from the apple juice and honey, the tart lemon and the bubbles from the prosecco, the floral citrus flavor from the cardamom was the exact thing this drink needed. Don’t take my word for it. Try for yourself!
Ingredients:
- 1 ½ parts Redemption Bourbon Whiskey
- 2 parts apple cider
- 2 parts prosecco
- ½ part lemon juice
- Barspoon cardamom honey. Cardamom-honey: Add 5-10 cardamom pods to a ratio of 1:1 honey and water. Heat on low until honey is dissolved in water and cardamom is fragrant. Let sit for a few hours to cool.
Method:
· Shake all ingredients, except prosecco, with ice
· Pour into a champagne flute
· Top with prosecco
