Elizabethtown-based nonprofit Give 270 is now hosting Round 10 of the weekly Whiskey Wednesdays charity raffle series, entitled “The Bourbon Vault.” Raffle tickets are now on sale, and proceeds will benefit area scholarship funds.

Raffles will take place each Wednesday at 8 p.m. from Jan. 10 through March 27. Throughout the raffle round, ticket purchasers will have a chance to win from a lineup of 24 weekly prizes hidden behind 24 locker doors. Some of the prizes included in the lineup include Pappy Van Winkle Family Reserve 20 year, a six-bottle Weller vertical, a bottle of Old Forester Birthday Bourbon and more.

Four bonus prizes will also be given away each week, including Stagg Jr., Forbidden Small Batch, Knob Creek’s Jack Harlow Foundation Pick and Filmland’s The Eric & Joe Show 10th Anniversary Pick. Every week of Round 10, the five winners drawn will advance for a one-in-60 chance to win the round’s ultimate grand prize, the Buffalo Trace Antique Collection, on March 27th.

The supported scholarship funds include the Central Hardin FFA Alumni, Elizabethtown Noon Rotary Club, Fort Knox Spouses and Community Club, Kentucky Bluegrass Sergeant Major Association, Fort Knox Chapter of Phi Beta Sigma and Radcliff Rotary Club. When buying tickets and selecting their locker door during checkout, purchasers can select the scholarship fund they wish to support. The fund with the most selections for the round will receive a bonus contribution.

“Local initiatives such as this raffle are crucial to support area scholarship funding,” said Eli Whitlock, president of the Radcliff Rotary Club. “We are thrilled to be included in this group of recipients and I am confident that the outcome will be a net positive for local students.”

Whiskey Wednesday’s Round 10 raffles are set to take place live on Give 270’s Facebook page and YouTube channel. Priced at $5 each, there is no limit to the amount of tickets purchased per individual each week.

“Every ticket sold unveils opportunities, not just for prized bourbon but also for advancing education for area students,” said Eric Clemens, Board Chair of Give 270. “We invite the loyal audience who’ve stood by us throughout the past nine rounds to join in raising a glass in support of this great cause.”
