Four Roses Bourbon and Nanz & Kraft Florists hosted the 16th annual Four Roses Flower Hour event on Thursday, February 9, raising $7,000 to benefit the American Heart Association for Heart Month.Flower Hour provided an opportunity to take care of Valentine’s Day shopping while sipping award-winning bourbon and enjoying complimentary hors d’oeuvres and live jazz music with Four Roses Master Distiller Brent Elliott and Four Roses Brand Ambassador & Mixologist Abby Martinie.“It means a great deal to us to partner with Four Roses and Nanz & Kraft to raise awareness about heart health during American Heart Month,” said Karrie Harper, senior development director of the American Heart Association. “As heart disease and stroke are the number one and number five killers, respectively, of all Americans, it is wonderful to see how much we’re able to raise during Flower Hour every year.”Flower Hour also featured a silent auction with an array of items, including a few award-winning Limited Edition Four Roses bottlings, a Nanz & Kraft Valentine’s bouquet, tickets to the 2023 Louisville Heart Ball and more, with all proceeds benefitting the American Heart Association.“We have a long-standing partnership with Nanz & Kraft and it was exciting to see everyone that came out to support such a great cause in our 16th year,” said Four Roses Master Distiller Brent Elliott.Nanz & Kraft prepared a special flower arrangement, including a bottle of Four Roses Small Batch, available for the entire month of February in-store or at www.nanzandkraft.com/gored. Nanz & Kraft will donate a portion of the proceeds of each flower arrangement purchase to the American Heart Association.
