Nationwide bourbon lovers rejoice as one of the most sought-after editions of whiskey will be offered through a sweepstake instead of first come, first serve.
Old Forester Birthday Bourbon will not be selling its spirit at the distillery this year. In the past, lovers of the George Garvin Brown birthday edition had to travel to downtown Louisville and wait in long lines for a chance to buy the bourbon.
The distiller announces that it will give everyone an equal chance to purchase this year’s edition. The retail price of the Birthday bottle is $149.99.
