C-A-T-S, Cats-Cats-Cats…
It’s football season and to honor our beloved Kentucky Wildcats game against Florida, here is a special cocktail for tailgating. This drink can be made ahead of time so, it will not interrupt your pre-game festivities.
INGREDIENTS:
- 1.5 oz. Kentucky Bourbon
- 0.5 oz. Allspice Liqueur
- 0.75 oz. Lime Juice
- 0.25 oz. Demerara Syrup
- 2 Dashes of Bitters
- Twist of Lime
METHOD:
- Combine all ingredients into a Cocktail Shaker
- Shake until Mixed
- Add Ice to a Cocktail Glass
- Pour and Garnish with a Twist of Lime
REVIEW:
This is a good fall football cocktail. The drink is full-bodied with a rich and spicy taste. It reminds me of a Whiskey Sour, but the Allspice Liqueur pairs perfectly with the fall weather. With each sip, my insides continued to heat up. I would recommend this cocktail on brisk Fall Saturday mornings. Go Cats!!!
