Bottled at 110 proof (55% ABV) and aged for four years and eight months, this whiskey offers a bold and unique take on barley as a single grain spirit.
The Frey family’s agricultural roots in Northern Nevada trace back to 1854. In 2006, Colby and Ashley Frey founded Frey Ranch Distillery on their 2,000-acre farm in Fallon, Nevada. The distillery is renowned for its sustainable practices, growing 100% of the grains used in their whiskeys on-site.
In addition to their whiskey offerings, Frey Ranch Distillery has partnered with Nevada Brining Company to create “Frey Ranch Boozy Pickles.” These pickles are brined using Frey Ranch’s own whiskey, resulting in a unique flavor profile where the initial taste of whiskey is mellowed by the cucumber, followed by the smoky heat of Fresno peppers. Each jar contains approximately 3/4 ounce of whiskey, making it a distinctive Nevada treat.
