The Bourbon Strong 50-4-50 raffle will take place live on Give 270’s Facebook page and YouTube channel on Wednesday, Nov. 27 at 8 p.m. During the raffle, prizes four through 50 will be drawn, and each of those winning tickets will be returned to the drawing tumbler for the drawing of the three grand prizes.
Tickets are $50 and will be available for purchase until 7 p.m. on the day of the drawing. A total of 3,000 tickets are available for the raffle. There is no limit to the amount of tickets purchased per person, subject to availability. Proceeds from the raffle will benefit Feeding America, Kentucky’s Heartland (FAKH), a nonprofit that gathers and distributes food in 42 Kentucky counties to feed neighbors in need through local partnerships.
“With 14.9 million meals provided last year and 2.5 million pounds of fresh produce distributed to our neighbors, Feeding America, Kentucky’s Heartland is committed to fighting hunger across our region,” said FAKH Executive Director Charles Dennis. “Support from initiatives like Give 270’s Bourbon Strong raffle is invaluable, helping us provide essential food and resources to those facing food insecurity in our communities. Together, we’re making a tangible difference in the lives of Kentuckians.”
Give 270 Board Chair Eric Clemens seconded this sentiment and said Give 270 is proud to support FAKH’s mission.
“In the area served by Feeding America, Kentucky’s Heartland, one in six of our neighbors face food insecurity,” Clemens said. “Their mission to fight hunger in our region is critical, and we are proud to support this work through our latest raffle event.”
