November 12, 2024- Louisville, KY – Barrell Craft Spirits will release a special 33-year Canadian Whiskey finished in French Oak and Oloroso Sherry Casks at 140 proof (70 ABV) for $199.99.
This blend of hand selected whiskey barrels is an exceptional representation of the character and depth of a mature whiskey. After maturing for 33 years in the original barrels, the whiskey developed zesty citrus and herbal characteristics with notes of vanilla and veg tanned leather. Further resting in French Oak and Oloroso sherry cask through the well-defined Kentucky season imparted robust and toasty highlights enhancing the complex sensory experience.
The team produced 1,500 total bottles of the limited-release blend, of which 333 will be sold online and 70 will be available at the Watterson facility in Louisville. The rest will be available in select stores in select states
